Taylor Swift Did a Much Better Job Covering Eminem's 'Lose Yourself' Than Justin Bieber

Fact: Taylor Swift is a better rapper than Justin Bieber. Or at least a better cover artist.

At his Sunday evening concert in Detroit, Michigan, the Canadian pop star attempted to pay homage to one of the city's musical heroes, Eminem, by breaking into the first lines of his 2002 hit "Lose Yourself." Clad in bright red shoes, his trademark drop-crotch pants, a denim vest and a dippy little hat, Justin didn't exactly have the right look for the song — or the right rhythm. As one Italian viewer wrote, "QUESTO รจ UN INSULTO A EMINEM E ALLA MUSICA RAP" ("THIS is AN INSULT TO EMINEM AND RAP MUSIC")..

Sadly for Bieber, this act has been done — and done much better — by two of his pop contemporaries. Taylor Swift had a punchy version ready for her Detroit concert back in 2011:

And Kelly Clarkson borrowed a friend's hoodie for a Detroit performance last summer:

Both Kelly and Taylor have a better handle on the lyrics and less embarrassing stage costumes. So they win. Sorry, Justin. :)
