Now, they’re teaming up again, with Eminem working as a producer on Skylar Grey’s new album, “Don’t Look Down,” according to Contact Music.
'Working with Em was one of the most amazing things in my entire life to ever happen and that will probably will ever happen,” Grey said. He has been so great at giving me feedback and I really trust his opinion.''
“I’m still totally intimidated by him and his talent, but I’m a little bit more fearless when it comes to just starting up a conversation. I started asking him questions and advice and stuff,” she told the Hollywood Reporter.
The New York Post reports that Eminem made a rare appearance in New York this month to support Grey. He was seen sneaking in through the back entrance of the Box to watch Grey perform during a release party for her new album. Eminem was immediately escorted to the VIP area upstairs and was “cordial but not overly friendly.”
After the set, he went backstage to congratulate Grey.
Eminem has been teaming up with many collaborators recently, and with his new album’s tracklist still unreleased (though there’s a mysterious, unofficial leaked tracklist available), each collaboration has the potential to show up on his new album as well.
Eminem and Big Sean have collaborated, with Big Sean confirming that the song won’t appear on his album – so it may appear on Eminem’s.
Eminem has also been spotted spending time in the studio with Kendrick Lamar, leading to speculation that they’ll collaborate.
